There is an old Chinese curse: " May you live in a period of transition! " More than one author had used this phrase to describe what has happened during the last 25 years to religious life in general and to the Institute of Brothers of the Christian Schools in particular. But this period of transitions can be viewed more positively if its various stages convey a sense of moments, realization that the La Salle Christian Brothers not only have been through a great deal but also that they are going somewhere.
