This is a catalogue of winning entries and other artworks to the 1996 Art Association of the Philippines Annual Art Competition. This volume features painting, sculpture, photographs, prints, drawings and essays on art criticism. This is the 49th year of AAP Annual Art Competition. It is the AAP's way of giving recognition to their members since its inception in 1948 and since then winners of the annual AAP contest have become some of the country's finest artists and pillars of Filipino art community in the past and at the present time.
