This training package was prepared as a result of the studies, materials development, testing undertaken as part of the WIDE programme in the Philippines. This package consists of an Action Manual and a Trainers' Guide. The former well justifies its title because it promotes practical action to improve the business of very small and micro entrepreneurs through concrete activities. The package has simplified concepts and elements of ILO's IYB (Improve Your Business) and WISE (Work Improvement in Small Enterprises packages which have good track record in the region) and is intended for very small manufacturing shops, particularly in garments, woodwork and metal work sub-sectors.
