As the title suggests, this work on Philosophy and Filipino Film will involve a close reading of both Martin Heidegger's Being and Time and Manuel Silos's Biyaya ng Lupa. The pairing hopes to provide a better appreciation and understanding of both texts--each one, in its own way, embodying the spirit of experimentation.
