520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. |
Summary, etc. |
Part I:"Functional Requirements Common to most direct-off-line swicthmode power supplies",covers in simple trems ,the rquirements which tend to be common to any supply intendedforoperation direct from theac line supply. It gives details of the various techniques in common use, higlighting their major advantages and lilmitations, togehter with typical applications.Part II:"Design, theory and practice",considers the selctionof power components and transformer designs for manyell-known converter circuits. It is primarily intended to assist practicing power and supply engineers in developing conservatively rated prototypes with more speed and minimum effort. It provides examples, information, and design theory sufficient for a gneral understnading and the nitial design of the more practical swicthmode power supplies.Part II:Applied Design",deals with many of the more general engineering requirements for switchmode system.Part IV:"Supplemntary ",looks at the design of an active power factor correctionsystem. It is difficult to to display waveforms, and design ower inductors, due to the dynamicbehavior of the boost typology ,with its low-and -high frequency requirements. |
