Mahalagang magsimula sa kasaysayan dahil ito ang magpapaliwanag kung paano umugat ang tatlong salot ng lipunan kung kaya sa kabila ng yaman ng bansa at sipag ng sambayanang Pilipino ay marami pa rin ang naghihirap. Pag-aaralan din dito ang mga istruktura at relasyong panlipunan. Maglilinaw ito ng batayan kung bakit sa partikular na yugtong ito ng kasaysayan ay pambansang demokrasya ang kagyat na solusyon sa suliranin ng bayan. Ipapakita din nito ang kasaysayan ng buhay at pakikibaka ng masa na siyang bukal na paniniwala at determinasyong magtatagumpay ang pambansa demokratikong aspirasyon ng sambayanang Pilipino. |
