Summary, etc. |
Contains the basic text of a collection of poems created in the timeless tradition of the Hanunoo-Mangyans, a Cultural Community inhabiting the highlands of Southern Mindoro Island, Philippines. This unique printed publication in the traditional Mangyan syllabic writing, commonly used in the Philippines during pre-Spanis times, is gratefully and lovingly dedicated to all Mangyan poets, unknown though they may be, who have pooled their poetic resources in the course of their cultural tradition, to the final shape handed down to posterity and herewith presented. |
