520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The study was designed to determine the level of productivity and the factors that affected the productivity of garment workers in Cavite with 10 to 99 employees (small scale) and duly registered with the Department of Trade and Industry in Dasmariñas, Cavite in 2006. The respondents garment establishments were chosen by systematic sampling. Descriptive statistics such as likert scale, percentages, mean, and frequency distribution were used to describe data. Pearson's product moment correlation, chi-square analysis and analysis of variance were also used. The ANOVA results revealed that labor productivity is related to a lot of factors. Gender and educational attainment are highly correlated to labor productivity. The results on wages, the number of hours worked, and the number of benefits concur with their hypothesized positive effect on labor productivity. This implies that higher wages and more benefits improve the productivity of the garment workers.
