To inspire the youth, and all others who care for, work with, and mentor them, we draw on the wisdom and experiences of adults who are involved in young peoples's formation and development-their teachers. The anthology is a collection of short essays written by public school teachers that depict not only their difficult, but also rewarding lives teaching english to Filipino students.The teachres' narrations affirm the idea that teaching is a noble profession and is necessary for nation building. After teaching English for many years-in my case, for twenty long years-one is tempted to believe that one has seen it all.
