520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Is a travelouge which, when properly assessed and understood , reveals his art and character, each poem pointing to a certain place or event that has affected his view of the human condition. His lyricism combines with knowledge that things are not what they always seem to be , that given certain parameters of truth, every historical and personal event leads to a further step in self-realization. Cyrilo Bautista's shorter lyric poems are fragments of his autobiography. Bautista himself acknowledges life unending posssibilities thus, said: " Share and share alike, the boulevard is long ". The editor interpreted that the poems speak of " the journey outward as having a corresponding reflection on the journey inward-that is the cycle of completeness
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Nothing is lost everything has a place under the sun. These poems also reveals Bautista's skill in the use of of poetic forms. They underscore the lyric intensity that pervades his approach to every subject and makes reading his poems a unique experience. The book introduces Bautista to those who are not yet familiar with his work.
