This book entitled "Alangan Mangyan of Mindoro", is a project of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) to provide the reader's knowledge about the indigenous people and community in Mindoro which known to be Mangyans. This book tackles the life of the Mangyans as the original settlers and inhabitants in Mindoro their geographical location specifically the land and territory, civilization, population, writing system, traditional attire, economic activities, traditions, beliefs, religion and spirituality, leadership structure, culture and their way of living as a community. |
