| Summary, etc. | Inilathalang muli ang aklat na ito ng Pambansang Alagad ng Sining Virgilio S. Almario ukol sa pagsusuri ng panitikan nina Bonifacio at Jacinto. Sina Bonifacio ang makabuluhang bitling sa pagitan ni Balagtas at ng ating panahon upang mabuo ang salimuot ng daloy ng Tradisyon. Sila ang isa pang tugatog ng Tradisyon pagkaraan ni Balagtas at wala sa talayak ni Rizal. Para silang nawawala at puslit na anino, na sapagkat wala sa teksto ni Rizal ay malimit na hindi maisaalang-alang sa umiral na kodigo ng Tradisyon nitong ika-20 siglo. Ngunit sila ang patunay kung paanong dumaloy ang Tradisyon mula kay Balagtas at lagpas sa pagsusuri ni Rizal. Sila ang higit na malusog na tagpag-ingat ng kadakilaan ni Balagats bilang makata ng bayan.
