In this book, the articles are not arranged chronologically, but by topic. The children's ages are mentioned to show how particular issue or problem is dealt, depending on their age. Nursery rhymes are dissected under the culture of violence. Sex education is discussed, and family planning is tackled. Revolutions are also discussed where, even if Marcos and coups no longer exist, the lessons are too crucial to the education of children and development as a nation to ignore. It is hope that in sharing the experiences of some Filipino families-the concerns, responses, plus pointers that have gathered from experts on living and parenting-some insights may be derived that could benefit and improve family life, and ultimately, the country.
