Summary: This book contains lessons that focus on the development of speaking, listening, and communicating effectively. There are also lessons that discuss the different types of speeches and group discussions. Every lesson contains three major parts, the STARTER, which includes preliminary activities to introduce the topic. It is followed by the DISCUSSION, which contains a thorough discussion of the different theories in oral communication. The last part is the EXERCISE, where one applies the techniques and theories learned in real practice. At the end of every exercise is a suggested rating sheet that the teacher could use to grade the students during their presentation in front of the class. The last chapter is added to give other important information related to voice and non-verbal language.
