Summary: Features a traveling exhibition which champions Philippine history and culture that is equated for the most part with Christianization and the vast trove of ecclesiastical art that had grown and flourished with the faith. The exhibit is a joint venture of The Artery and Kaplag as the religious festival of 2015 marks the 450th anniversary of the finding of the Sto. Niño de Cebu image significant to the beginning of Christianity in the country. Coinciding with cited celebration are two important historical events for the Augustinian Province of the Santo Niño de Cebu : 450 years of Augustinian presence in the Philippines(1565-2015) and the 50th anniversary of the elevation of the church that houses the said miraculous religious icon to the rank of "Basilica Minore(1965-2015). The Minor Basilica of the Holy Child,commonly known as the Santo Niño Church, was declared a National Historical Landmark in 1941.Includes text and colored pictures.
