The objective of this course is (1) to familiarize with the various methods of supervision used in aquatic facility and to increase the knowledge of procedures used to ensure bathers safety; (2) to acquire skills and technique in different swimming strokes; (3) to enable to identify and recognize the various types of emergencies that may occur in an aquatic facility and demonstrate proper safe and effective method in water rescue and survival; and (4) to introduce various emergency plans and demonstrate proper basic life support application, basic first aid techniques and other water related emergencies. --Preface of the book.
