This case book is the writer's modest contribution to the relatively sparse but growing literature on cultural entrepreneurship, whose meaning is clarified in the context of Philippine experience based on the stories of the twenty cultural entrepreneurs included in the book. The stoires show that cultural entrepreneurs, who are engaged in different fields like the arts, design, theatre, dance, architecture, fashion, performing arts, and crafts do not only contribute to the economic well-being of stakeholders concerned but also serve as stewards of heritage that nakes it possible for future generations to be born into a rich culture and tradition that is distinctively and truly Filipino. --Back cover of the book.
