Summary: This modest publication, Facets of Davao's History, is a collection of essays written mostly for the Araw ng Dabaw Souvenir Program during the past many years. The Rotary Club of Downtown Davao feels these essays would lend towards understanding better the Davao experience and the Club has taken upon itself the task of publishing them as its humble contribution to the objective of the Centennial Movement, Davao City Chapter, on the theme "Towards Enhancing Greater Understanding of Davao's History." --Foreword of the book.
