The design of the book is primarily for the development of listening and speaking skills and strategies for effective communication in various situations grounded on the enhancement of workplace communication that is the prime target of the K11-12 education. It is an attempt to bridge the gap in the concept building of communication and its application in the workplace since students will have an early exposure in the industry as part of the internship program. The main thrust of the book is to build on the communicative competence of the learners and realized in the varied interactive activities that will spell fun and enjoyment while learning the rudiments of speech and oral communication. Various speech projects will be written and delivered to the learners as a gauge to measure their understanding of the concepts.
