A collection of black and white photographs of one of the finest Filipino photographers, Eduardo Masferre, a gifted photographer who developed his craft with little outside help or influence, and who photographed his people as change came to their life styles. His people are the inhabitants of the Gran Cordillera Central - the subject of this volume. The culture of the Cordillera people is deep, rich and, fortunately still alive. This book beautifully records that culture. The material in this collection was divided into six sections. The first presents the artist in the biographical sketch, the second his environment in "The Cordillera and its People".
