Declaracion de la Doctrina Christiana is a compendium of post-baptismal intructions addressed to Tagalog converts. It follows the outline of the standard doctrina (catechism) that begins with explanations of basic prayers and ends with instructions on the commandments and the seven deadly sins. Doctrina Christiana represents a type of missionary discourse that formed Tagalog men and women into seeing themselves in Christian terms. --Back cover of the book.
