Elements of Filipino Ethics departs from the traditional approach of solving moral problems by applying ethical principles. It also avoids the other extreme situation ethics. Rather this study tries to stay in the middle by solving ethical problems through the priority of Filipino values. In the light of this approach, it gives ethical guidelines on problems such as issues on private property, justice, advertisement, education, marriage, ecology - a topic hardly touched in most manuals of ethics.
