The book narrates the historical visit of Pope John Paul II in the Philippines in January 1995 for a series of events such as 400th elevation of Manila as an Archdiocese and the creation of Diocese of Cebu, Caceres, and Nueva Segovia. It was also the 25th year of the Federation of Asian Bishops' Conferences (FABC) which had its roots in Manila, where the bishops of Asia had first gathered for a meeting with Pope Paul VI in 1970. And it was likewise, the silver jubilee of Radio Veritas Asia. 10TH World Youth day was, of course, the main event that occasioned the Pope's pilgrimage in this part of Asia. The book also captures the mood of the people partaking on that special gathering through colored photographs by 7 well-known photographers. It also compiles all the messages given by the Pope in the events he attended
