This Directory provides a complete listing of private schools, colleges and universities with corresponding courses granted government recognition or permit for the school year 1970-71. It was prepared on the basis of records in the Bureau of Private schools and is being issued pursuant to the requirements of Commonwealth Act 180. Government approval of private schools is by courses and not by entire institution. All courses authorized by the Department of Education as recommended by the Director of Private Schools are issued corresponding certificates. Courses not listed in this Directory and not covered by such certificates are not authorized and are therefore illegally operated.
