Summary: This publication is a revision of the 1977 PSCC as amended. It is aligned with the UN Standard International Trade Classification (SITC), Revised 3 and the Harmonized System of the Philippines (HSP). The present edition takes into account emerging commodities offered for preferential treatment by donor countries under the Generalized System of Preference (GSP) and Preferential Trading Arrangements. Furthermore, it incorporates changes such as the inclusion, deletion, reclassification or modification of description of certain commodities per meritorious request from government and private sector.
