Cavite is one of the provinces that experience a total physical make-over due to migration, urbanization and industrialization. Because of this most of the province heritage is in the verge of extinction that include old houses. Old houses specifically those built during the nineteenth and early 20th century shows how our ancestors live in that period. To save these houses for future reference the Cavite Studies Center document them in this publication. This publication aims to show to the next generation of Caviteños the lifestyle of their ancestors during the Spanish and American period. It also aims to present the art and architecture of that period.
