The book is a historical novel based on the life of John Baptist de La Salle. All of its characters and settings are historically correct, and give life and depth to the story. The illustrations are taken from the film Who Are My Own? based on the first version of this book entitled Master of Mischief Makers. The story captures the spirit of De La Salle, and serves as an excellent introduction to this saint, the Patron of all teachers, and to an understanding of his contribution to educational ministry in all its forms.
