This text presents a new and expanded translation of John Baptist De La Salle's monumental contribution to the history of pedagogy, Conduite des Ecoles chretinnes. The main body of the text is the translation of the 1720 Edition of the Conduite as it appears in Cahiers lassaliens 24 (CL 24). It includes the cover letter by Brother Timothee, the Second Superior General of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. The book shows the reader the more significant changes in the text made between 1706 and 1720 by De La Salle and the first Brothers.
