Cavite's historical calendar, the second output of the Cavite Studies Center, is another manifestation of the De La Salle University-Dasmariñas efforst in publishing works geared towards the enrichment of Caviteno's rich historical heritage.
There is more to this historical calendar than dates and events. Each tells of time-separated events. Each challenge to explore the history of history, to embark on specific and sensitive aspects of the Caviteño's historical experience and to open to Caviteños the stimuli of research for them to dare read the materials of local history. The data are mostly based on Achutegui and Bernad's Aguinaldo and The Revolution: A Documentary History, Aguinaldo's Memoirs of the Revolution, and Alvarez's The Katipunan and the Revolution.
