Some 150 topics are considered in short, conversational articles, each with an annotated bibliography. The encyclopedia format affords presentation of a great deal of information but sacrifices the enhancement that thesis- or subject-oriented chapters would provide. The index gives some help, directing the reader to six different entries connected with "job hunting," for example. Perhaps a handbook format that does not adhere to alphabetical arrangement would make more sense for this collection of articles.
