A biographical and bibliographical directory of Filipino writers in English. Most of the writers featured in this book have migrated abroad and acquired foreign citizenship for convenience. In presenting each writer, a pattern has been followed when possible: name, type of writer, year and place of birth, work experience starting from the latest and working back in time, education including schools, honors, awards, published works with place and date of publication, and prizes and awards won. In some cases excerpts from critics' comments have been included. The Continental rule of alphabetizing personal names was followed.
