Summary: This Teachers' and Education Workers' Manual of Legal Rights is the first major publication of the Teacher Center of the Philippines since its founding on June 10, 1982. This Manual is our response to the growing need of the Filipino teachers and employees in their quest for information about their in-alienable and constitutional rights. This Manual shall serve as their guide in advancing their struggles for democratic rights and welfare. In becoming victorious in such aspirations, the teachers and employees would be more in a position to understand and thereafter, fulfill their roles in society -- as transmitters of truth, correct values and virtues, and as agents for social transformation. --From the foreword
