Summary: The Mindanao Art & Culture series is a non-periodical publication of the University Research Center, Mindanao State University, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur, Philippines. It is the second-part continuation of Mindanao Art & Culture, No.1 published in 1979. Like its forerunner, it has been prepared by the Folklore Division, University Research Center, Mindanao State University, Marawi City. The Folklore Division chairman is Sister Ma. Delia Coronel, icm,. Collection and translations of the folktales in this volume have been made by the staff of the Division. Their names are acknowledge in appropriate place in this volume. Editing and orthology work on the original Maranao are by Batua Al. Macaraya and Engracia M. Macaraya. --Preface of the book.
