Summary: This book is currently is the seventh of an ongoing series which compiles each year's output of supplementary materials produced for the subscribers of the Teachers Assistance Program (TAP), a unit of Education Forum, the task force on education of the Association of Major Religious Superiors of the Philippines. As in previous volumes, this one offers short articles on a wide range of topics of current interest. Initially conceived as supplementary readings for teachers, for general background as well as for use in their classrooms, TAP materials have also found acceptance among a wider audience. Although at first glance new readers may wonder at the rational for such a smorgasbord of topics, they will realize, I hope, that one objective underlies their variety - that of presenting the nationalist perspective, pro-Filipino and pro-people, on whatever subject. --Foreword of the book
