Without claiming to be a scientific work worthy of the name Linguistics, Kayamanan ng Wika proves to be original in its own rights. Whereas Linguistic structural analysis focuses on phonemes, morphemes, words, phrases and sentences in branches like phonemics, morphology, syntacs and semantics, this book offers a theory on the meaning of individual letters, claiming, "each letter of the word has a meaning of its own". Making use of componential analysis, the author first concentrates of Filipino words, in different languages, and then proposes a structure of meanings for all letters of the alphabet.
