(b) A survey of selected development theater groups conducted by the staff of the Research Utilization Project on Development Theater in order to determine the frequency of their performances, organizational structure, coverage and production costs of their presentations from January 1978 to June 1979
and (c) Information gathered from existing literature on development theater in the Philippines. There are two sections in this paper. This first section is a general overview of the different aspects of development theater activities in the Philippines. The second is a summary of an anthology of 20 experience papers written by leaders of different theater groups and is subdivided according to geographical area they belong to. --Foreword of the book.
This paper describes and presents experiences and quantified data on the present status of development theater in the Philippines. Data used for this paper was culled from three basic sources: (a) The experience papers of 20 theater groups in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao
