Forests are cut down, leading to soil erosion. Rivers are polluted by toxic wastes and fertilizers, killing the fish. Springs are drying up. Farms are eroded by wind and water. The air is polluted by toxic fumes. Much of this damage is being caused by ignorance of the environment and of basic ecological functions. This book is written with the idea that education can be a major force for preventing and reversing damage to the earth. (http://www.vibebookstore.com)
