Summary: This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Pre-Cana Program of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Dasmariñas Bagong Bayan, Cavite. The Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) model was utilized. Questionnaires were distributed to randomly selected respondents. The findings of the study reveal that the three groups of respondents (single and unmarried couples, civilly married and cohabiting couple) were aware "to a great extent" about the nature and objectives of the Pre-Cana Program of the parish. They were significantly different in their responses in areas of methodology, topics and venue which only show their differences in terms of needs, background and expectations. The study recommends modifying or improving the program, to recruit more facilitators, to provide suited and adequate materials for the participants and to conduct a follow-up study.
