Chona S. Trinidad, a freelance writer and social critic, has written on various subjects published in leading dailies and magazines. Her career began in tourism under the dynamic leadership of Modesto Farolan, considered the "Father of Tourism." Ms. Trinidan was among the pioneers who conducted seminars for tourist guides. An alumna of Holy Ghost College (now College of the Holy Spirit), she took up tertiary courses at the University of Santo Tomas. The author's reminiscences of more than 100 best-remembered restaurants in the country elicited much interests in a weekly column titled, "Nostalgia," published in the Women's Journal. An acknowledged food critic, the author takes the readers on a sentimental journey on the streets of Manila, describing more about the Filipino heritage.
