This book is Marivic's gift to Ramon on his 60th birthday and to their children as well. For Ramon, it is a tribute . For their children, it is a way to gain a fuller and deeper appreciation of their father. But because Ramon as person is revealed through his public persona, this too is Marivic's gift to all of us, and especially to the youth, who by Ramon's own example, may learn to trust in ourselves and in our capacity to shape our future.
