Summary: Provides a compilation and definition of various terms used in collecting, presenting and analyzing education statistics. The concepts and definitions were taken from legal documents matters as the Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001 (RA 9155) and from various education agency memorandum orders and circulars, and/or based on international concepts as those defined by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Some of these concepts and definitions were modified either to correct, update, or adapt to current conditions in the education sector in the Philippines.
