She is a retired faculty member of the Far Eastern University (FEU) where she taught various business and computer courses for 30 years, and was also the head of the Secretarial Department for 25 years. During her tenure at the university, she helped organize the FEU Business Center which has been the training ground of business students to complement their internship. Mrs. Gupit was awarded as Outstanding Faculty Member of the FEU several times. At present, she plays an active role in the Inner Wheel Club of Manila, a civic organization and spouse club of the Rotary Club of Manila.
