PURITA PUEYO-BILBAO, Ed.D., considers teaching as a lifelong journey. She rose from the ranks from being a classroom teacher, to Department Chair, Associate Dean, Dean of the College of Education and presently Vice President and Doctor of Education in Curriculum. Instruction and Evaluation from West Visayas State University and Doctoral Enrichment at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, USA as a US-RP Faculty Scholar. She took her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. She writes modules, instructional materials and books for local and international publications. She was awarded as the Outstanding Teacher Educator of Region 6 and was a Metrobank national finalist. She is the Zonal representative for the Visayas in the Teacher Education Council and a former member of the Technical Panel for Teacher, CHED.
