Society and Culture with Family Planning: A Modular Approach presents a simple and brief explanaton of society and culture. It introduces the subject in a distinct way not by being too historical in approach and too loaded with theories, but by using instructional modules that fit the Philippine context. Each module is composed of lessons that are presented in a clear and sequential manner to establish connection and continuity. An overview is provided in each module to serve as a backgrounder of the lessons tacled. Each lesson contains specific objectives to guide both educators and students. Likewise, an overview is offered before the lesson proper. The lesson also includes various learning tasks in the form of questions that test students' knowledge of factual information, and several activities that develop their critical thinking skills.
