This book is a compilation of stories of 50 missionaries in China, mostly Jesuits, who were experts in the world of science particularly in astronomy. The author presented the stories in chronological order. A brief historical background through the short, imaginary but realistic letters of these missionaries to know them better, their lives, experiences, and feelings while doing their missionary works in China.
