Part II highlights the status of waste generation in the various industrial sectors like iron and steel industry, thermal power plant and cement industry. Part III emphasizes with the assessment of the recycling and reusing potential of the various types of generated wastes in the same industry or other industry. Finally Part IV presents various industry specific models for operationalizing the IE concept along with the detail cost benefit analysis of the developed models. It also presents some case studies of application of industrial ecology in developed as well as developing countries.
