vol. 1 : Dimensions of sport and leisure management. -- vol. 2. The mixed economy of sport and leisure provision. -- vol. 3. Sport and leisure consumption. -- vol. 4. Managing sport and leisure operations.
This new major work on sport and leisure management takes a wide and holistic view of the topic, conceptualising sport and leisure management as an area of study that is underpinned by a range of social science disciplines, including, but not limited to, political science, economics, sociology, psychology, geography and, of course, management. Over four volumes, Editor Mike Weed has carefully selected and compiled articles covering the key aspects of the subject, including context, supply, demand and management. In order to enhance the coherence of the collection, each volume is framed by a contextualising introductory chapter, with a larger primary introduction in Volume I tying the concept of the collection neatly together.
