Poems.
This is a book of poetic virtuosity which amply shows why Frank Penones Jr, is one of the fines few who stand out among the rich crop of prolific post-war Bikolnon writers. His poems are superbly fluid in diction, intense in emotion, and socially-conscious in intelligence. Not a coffee table book to be admired from a ten-foot distance, it deserves to be studiously read and absorbed by a receptive mind which, assuredly, will be rewarded with a fulfilling journey to unexpected Bikolnon heights.
