Understanding culture, society and politics for senior high school presents and discusses significant aspects of Philippine society using information, views, and insights from three disciplines, namely, anthropology, political science, and sociology. It imparts ideas to students about human cultures, human agency, society, and politics. It seeks to teach them how to recognize cultural relativism and social inclusiveness to overcome prejudices and develop social and cultural. competence to guide their interactions with groups, communities networks, and institutions not only in the country bu throughout the world.
