It is the second-part continuation of Mindanao Art & Culture, No.1 published in 1979. Like its forerunner, it has been prepared by the Folklore Division, University Research Center, Mindanao State University, Marawi City. The Folklore Division chairman is Sister Ma. Delia Coronel, icm,. Collection and translations of the folktales in this volume have been made by the staff of the Division. Their names are acknowledge in appropriate place in this volume.
